Did somebody say prosecco?!

Have you seen the perfect venue for your hen/stag party / wedding / birthday / bar mitzvah / graduation shindig, but it doesn’t have a bar? Or you want to use the back garden for your next big event, if only you had bartender, and a bar that wouldn’t run dry halfway through. Celebratory drinks for the sales team hitting target, a product launch, or reaching that personal or corporate milestone.

After 5 years working in the South African hospitality industry, followed by 15 years in the UK corporate world in various industries, the business plan for GinFizz was born. It took some time and a strong dose of (Dutch) courage during the pandemic to put the wheels in motion and, at last, this dreamy pop-up bar is a reality; ready to help you make sure your next event fizzes with fun and the drinks are flowing!

Our self-contained mobile bar is housed in a vintage horse box that has been cleverly converted to enable speedy chilling of hundreds of bottles of fizz at a time (or lots of beer or tonic, etc., if that’s more your thing!)

Book your date today! A £195 booking fee secures the bar* for your event date; fully stocked, staffed, insured and licensed. Once your date is booked [click 'make a booking' top right], our team will get in touch to talk through the finer details such as your menu, preferred style of service, etc., to perfectly match our bar to your event vision. Doing Our Bit

Reducing our carbon footprint

GinFizz is committed to reducing our carbon footprint as much as we can. We source products from like-minded, eco-friendly suppliers and our services include facilities to encourage recycling and the use recycled / compostable products at all events. Ideas on how we can do more are also always welcome! What we do:

  • For every 50 bottles of fizz we sell, a tree is planted via the World Land Trust
  • For all events, we ask that power be provided. Alternatively, we can chill drinks on ice or provide generator power for an additional fee
  • For cash-bar events, a cash deposit will be taken on purchasing your first glass bottle and returned when you deposit your last bottle into our recycling bin
  • All our cups and glasses are made from biodegradable plant-based eco-plastic, or we can provide actual glass on request


Do you only offer gin & prosecco?

Definitely not! We stock a wide range including beer, wine, ciders, soft drinks, water, rum, whiskey, and more, and with enough time to stock up we can serve whatever your heart desires.

What kind of events and drinks services do you do?

Birthdays, weddings, private parties, corporate drinks receptions, festivals, you name it! We can tailor all our packages to suit your needs to create the perfect event you have in mind, whether it’s for a couple of hours for arrival drinks; an open, cash or token-operated, fully-staffed bar for the whole event or after-party - it’s up to you.

Can you oversee the whole day’s drinks?

We’ll be there for as much of the day as you need us to. Give us a call or drop us a line to find out more about how we can make what we do suit your needs.

Do you need time to setup?

We need access 2 hours prior to the event start time to setup and chill the fizz!

How is the bar powered to keep drinks cold?

The bar requires access to one to two 13 amp (household) socket to chill your drinks. If power is not available, a generator can be provided at a cost of £50, which includes planting a tree via the World Land Trust.

Will our venue allow you to attend?

Most venues will happily accommodate your request to have a fizz-filled pop up bar grace their driveways but you must ensure you have permission from your venue before confirming your booking with us. We can answer any questions they may have.

Do I need an alcohol license?

GinFizz is fully licensed with a Designated Premises Supervisor and your booking fee includes provision of a temporary event notice allowing us to serve alcohol to up to 499 people. We take care of all the boring paperwork so you can focus on all the fun parts of your event.

Who provides the glasses?

All our packages include complimentary straws, napkins and eco-friendly disposable cups / glasses, even if you buy fizz by the bottle. If you’d prefer proper glassware, we can recommend providers to deliver this to site and collect after the event, usually free of charge with a £1 refundable deposit per glass held in case of any breakages.

What are the measurements of the pop-up bar?

Our trailer is 3.4m (l) x 2.1m (w) and must be positioned outdoors, with suitable vehicle access to get parked up. Our indoor bar is 1.5m x 0.75m and can fit through all standard doorways.

What if it rains on the day of my event?

The canopies of the GinFizz trailer provide some protection, and additional cover can be discussed on request if wellies and waterproof jackets won’t cut it.

How much does it cost?

Your booking fee of £195 secures your date and covers provision of bar staff for up to 6 hours, licensing, insurance, travel within 20 miles of our HQ and setup of the bar with full stock to keep your guests smiling. A credit card will need to be provided 14 days prior to the event to secure against the agreed minimum bar spend on the day; usually £500. If your all-inclusive bar tab goes over that, or your guests spend more than the minimum on the day, you won't incur any additional charges and we'll provide a full quote upfront.

Do you have a drinks menu I can choose from?

Check out our Packages page, or send us an email for more information. We will do our best to accommodate any requests for confirmed bookings.

How far in advance do I have to book?

Depending on your venue’s alcohol license requirements, we require 11 working days to apply for license from the local council, so we recommend booking at least 3 weeks in advance, but dates go quickly so the sooner the better!

How do I make sure I don’t lose my preferred date?

How far will you travel?

As a rule of thumb, we’ll travel anywhere within 100 miles of Leeds, West Yorkshire for 1 day events, and UK-wide 2+ day events. [Surcharges may apply.]

What’s your cancellation policy?

We understand that things happen, but planning events, getting licenses and buying stock takes time and effort. Cancellations acknowledged by GinFizz in writing no less than 60 days prior to the event will receive a full booking fee refund, less any admin costs such as event license application fees, etc. Cancellations received after this time will not be entitled to a refund of the booking fee, but we will do all we can to reschedule if your dates need to move.
